Works for me

You can check my date. I got this 16g iPad new for Xmas 2012 and I have the latest iOS installed and updated. I only waited this long to buy this game because of the reviews that say it crashes on start up. I will edit this review later with game info or a detailed explanation of the bugs I experience if that happens but right now, it starts and seems to be working. Im only giving it a neutral 3 star rating because I know nothing yet on which to judge but wanted to get this up anyway just so I could let people know that it works for me so far considering all the other reviews.

As a minor follow up, I still havent had any bugs that make the game unplayable but the turn based combat isnt as tactical as Id hoped and the itemization is very simple. The combat may improve as I start to understand the ai and I get more abilities. I also suspect it may be annoying to grind gold and Im not buying anything else for this game. For 1 dollar, this app is worth that to me but I am a lil underwhelmed. Leaving it 3 stars till I play more.
